Where can I find you on social media?

A. You can use this link https://linktre.ee/KathiOramPeterson and find every social media site I am on.

Q: Who publishes your romantic suspense novels?

A. My traditional publisher is Covenant Communications, Inc. I have been working with them since 2007. My first novel was released in 2009. My first two books published were The Forgotten Warrior and The Stone Traveler, both Y/A time travels. Plus, I had written two more time travels that they considered, but they were very hesitant to publish them. They suggested I try another genre. Because some of the very first novels I had written were romantic suspense, I pulled out one titled River Whispers and they loved it.

Q. Do you have more romantic suspense novels due to be released through Covenant?

A. Yes! The working title for the book is Shifting Sands, but that may change. The novel is due out in February 2023.

Q. The Forgotten Warrior had quite a cliffhanger ending. Did you write a sequel?

A. Yes! This is a long story so hang in there. You’ll be happy with the ending, I promise. Anyway, I submitted the sequel to The Forgotten Warrior about the same time as I did the first book. However, my publisher held off publishing it. Instead they accepted The Stone Traveler, which was released the following year. By this time I had received a ton of emails asking about the sequel to The Forgotten Warrior. I asked my publisher about the sequel and got the same answer: wait and see. I finished another Y/A time travel and submitted it. And again, got the answer: wait and see. Okay, I may be a slow study, but I caught on and after that I devoted most of my time to writing romantic suspense, which were selling very well. But in the meantime, my emails regarding the sequel were stacking up. I had hundreds of people asking for it. Independent publishing took off and after talking with my publisher, I decided to try indie publishing for my Y/A time travels. And, my publisher was very supportive and returned some of the rights of The Forgotten Warrior and The Stone Traveler to me. All I had to do was give those books new titles and new covers, then I could offer them to my readers on Amazon. I decided to offer all of my Y/A time travels in a series called: The Time Stone Chronicles. The Forgotten Warrior became Reluctant Warrior, and Stripling Warrior could now be offered to my faithful readers. The Stone Traveler became Guardian of the Stone. And Chasing the Star completed the series.

Q. Are all the Time Stone Chronicle novels about the same characters?

A. No. Volume One: Reluctant Warrior and Volume Two: Stripling Warrior have the same characters. Volume Three: Guardian of the Stone is a stand-alone novel. (August 2017) And Volume Four: Chasing the Star is also a stand-alone. If you like Christmas stories, you might like this book. (October 2017)

Q. Will there be more Time Stone Chronicle books?

A. I hope so. I have several story lines going on in my head.

Q. Will you read my manuscript/query letter?

A. Sorry. I wish I could, but I’m crazy busy.

Q. Will you review my book?

A. Sorry, but I can’t. When I first started, I read a lot of books for other authors, but as time has gone by, and I have more books of my own to write, I just don’t have time.

Q. Could I receive a copy of your next book and review it?

A. This depends on a couple of things. For my traditionally published books, my publisher sends out review copies.
